The Michigan Outdoor Innovation Fund is a statewide $5 million pre-seed fund powered by InvestUP. The Fund is supported by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) through the Michigan Innovate Capital Fund initiative to support early-stage Michigan start-ups commercializing competitive edge technologies. The Michigan Outdoor Innovation Fund provides pre-seed investments ($50,000 up to $250,000) to Michigan-based start-ups who are leveraging technologies to follow through on growth opportunities related to increasing the enjoyment, accessibility, and sustainability of outdoor recreation experiences.
