The MTRAC Innovation Hub for Advanced Computing Technologies is a statewide program that funds translational research activities in Cognitive Technologies (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, RPA), Immersive Technologies (e.g., Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR)), Industry X.0, Cybersecurity, Blockchain/Distributed Ledger, and Next Generation Computing. The mission of this hub is to invest in Deep Techs solving some of the toughest market challenges and to accelerate the lab-to-market process. Institutions of higher education, nonprofit research centers, and hospital systems throughout the state of Michigan are eligible to submit proposals. This hub is run by Wayne State University, in partnership with Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
