Michigan Venture Capital Association Launches Search for New Executive Director
After four years, Maureen Miller Brosnan, executive director of the Michigan Venture Capital Association (MVCA), will be leaving the organization to pursue other advancement opportunities.
“Maureen is an energetic leader with a distinguished track record of achievement in Michigan’s entrepreneurial and investment community. She has worked collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders to grow and advance the association. We are grateful for her passionate advocacy and leadership,” said Charmain of the MVCA Board of Directors, Tom Shehab, M.D.
Brosnan will be stepping down from her role as of December 31, 2018 but will remain a senior advisor during the transition to new leadership.
“MVCA has grown a lot in the past four years. It is well positioned to take on the challenges that lie ahead. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to work alongside many bright and talented people in the entrepreneurial and investment community and lead them in articulating and shaping MVCA’s vision for success. Strong board leadership, an engaged membership and a top-quality staff are the three characteristics that set MVCA apart. These strengths will be the catalyst for the next evolution of MVCA,” said Brosnan.
Upon her announcement earlier this week, MVCA is launching a search for a new executive director, aiming to fill the position before year end.
It’s been a great few years!!
