Brandon Epstein joined Detroit Venture Partners (DVP) as an analyst in September 2016. One year later, Brandon was promoted to the role of associate. His primary responsibilities have focused around deal sourcing, portfolio company support, and fund operation management.
Prior to joining DVP, Brandon spent time as an analyst in the Merchant Capital division of The Maxim Group in New York. As an analyst, Brandon was able to learn many of the functions of investment banking. These include: sourcing deals for his group to raise capital for, raising capital from institutions, family offices, and ultra-high-net-worth clients, and diligence on investment opportunities. Following his time at The Maxim Group, Brandon would intern for IncWell as a summer analyst and at MirrorMe3D as a financial operations analyst.
Brandon graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor of arts in supply chain management and a specialization in sustainability. In 2012-13, Brandon was elected to serve as the president of his fraternity, Sigma Nu, and to the Honors fraternity, Omega Chi, as treasurer. Brandon would also serve as a community organizer for Hillel at MSU. He enjoys playing a variety of sports with friends, movies, politics, and traveling with family to Florida in the wintertime.
