Esperion Therapeutics, Inc., a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing first-in-class, oral, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) lowering therapies for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $14.00 per share. The shares are expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ Global Market on June 26, 2013 under the symbol “ESPR.” In addition, Esperion has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any.

 

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and Citigroup Global Markets Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. JMP Securities LLC and Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated are acting as co-managers.
