Nominations are now being accepted for the 2014 Small Business Innovation Award and The Michigan 50 Companies to Watch program – both a part of Michigan Celebrates Small Business, a prestigious annual competition that recognizes successful growing businesses and their supporters. The winners will be honored at the 10th annual Michigan Celebrates Small Business event on May 6, 2014.

 

To be eligible for Innovation award, the product or service must have been developed by the applicant and earned revenue for the first time during the previous three years (from Nov. 2, 2010). The Michigan 50 Companies to Watch program celebrates the state’s growth businesses. It is designed to discover and honor the companies that make an impact in their markets, in their communities and in the state. To apply, go to http://www.michigancelebrates.biz/nominate-your-small-business/. All award nominations are due November 9 and can come from service providers (such as attorneys, bankers, accountants, public relations representatives, economic development professionals, etc.) or companies may apply directly as well. Nominees will receive an e-mail with instructions to complete an online application by November 29.
