In December 2010, the Governor signed into law HB5921, the Small Business Investment (Angel) Tax Credit bill. This bill will provide a 25% tax credit to qualified investors who invest in qualified seed and early stage businesses in Michigan.  On Friday, December 17th, from 3:30-5:30pm, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation will conduct a public forum to obtain input and comment on this bill. The bill may be viewed here: http://www.legislature.mi.gov/documents/2009-2010/billenrolled/House/htm/2010-HNB-5921.htm. Members of the MEDC staff will be available to answer questions about the bill and its implementation. Participation in the public forum is possible through one of the following means:
