[BLOOMFIELD HILLS, January 10, 2025] As we begin another exciting year for the Michigan Venture Capital Association (MVCA), we would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to the incredible individuals who make our organization so impactful. Their leadership, dedication, and vision continue to shape the future of venture capital in Michigan.

Incoming Chair, Kim Pasquino presenting a plaque of appreciation to Patti Glaza for her efforts as the 2024 Chair.

First and foremost, we want to extend a special thank you to Patti Glaza, ID Ventures, who has served as our 2024 Chair. Patti’s leadership over the past year has been nothing short of exemplary. Her guidance, insight, and unwavering commitment to the MVCA mission have helped drive significant growth and fostered a strong sense of community among Michigan’s venture capital leaders. Patti, your contributions have made a lasting impact, and we are deeply grateful for all you’ve done.

We are also thrilled to welcome Kim Pasquino, Wakestream Ventures as the incoming chair of the MVCA board. Kim’s wealth of experience in the venture capital ecosystem and her passion for fostering innovation make her the perfect fit to lead our organization into the next chapter. We look forward to working alongside Kim as she takes the helm and continues to build on the momentum that has already been established.

Additionally, we are excited to announce the appointment of two new members to our Board of Directors: Alison Todak, Principal at Plymouth Growth and Jeff Wesley, Managing Director at Red Cedar Ventures. Both Alison and Jeff bring valuable expertise and a fresh perspective to the table, and we are confident that their contributions will help further strengthen the MVCA’s mission of supporting and growing Michigan’s venture capital landscape.

Thank you to all of our board members for their unwavering support and commitment to advancing the Michigan venture capital community. Here’s to another year of growth, innovation, and collaboration!
