Woodward Angels activates early stage, founder friendly investment capital for high-growth startups in and around Detroit. We invest in tech and digitally scaling companies at the pre-seed and seed stage, and invest our time and energy in helping those companies succeed.

Birmingham Angels was established in 2019 with a core vision to change the way early-stage capital is deployed in the state of Michigan. We assert that every successful startup ecosystem around the world is based on the following three principles, the density of resources and activities, access to early-stage capital, and velocity of capital deployment.
